Stopschoolviolence
SSV exists to protect students, raise awareness for conflict resolution, and promote peace between students, while pushing back on violence and hatred wherever it shows up.
Why SSV
Every time Mosiah went to school, there was a fight.
It got to him. Not only what he saw, but what it meant: if it was happening this often at his school, it was probably happening at schools everywhere.
Students were getting hurt. Others were starting to treat it like normal. Mosiah decided something had to be done, so he started SSV: Stop School Violence.
What SSV stands for
Protect students
Every student should be able to walk into school without worrying about getting hurt, harassed or targeted.
Settle conflict
We raise awareness for conflict resolution, so arguments end in a conversation instead of a fight.
Promote peace
We promote peace between students and discourage violence and hatred, in school and online.
The plan
Fix it atthe root
The goal is to stop school violence at a foundational level, by putting the message in front of students and families where they already spend their time.
Earn
Grow the businesses we help with AI, and set that money aside for SSV.
Promote
Run promoted posts on Facebook and Instagram that speak out against school violence.
Go global
Run those posts in several countries, then keep expanding.
The deadline
That's when we want elementary schools, middle schools, high schools and colleges to be completely safe from violence and harassment. Time left:
In danger right now? Call 911.
Outside the US, call your local emergency number. If you're being bullied, harassed or threatened at school, tell a parent, teacher, counselor or another adult you trust. You don't have to deal with it alone.
